Dear Students,
I want to introduce you to The Mindfulness Meditation Program. It began last year as a program for individuals and this year I am offering it in a small group format that allows students to learn from one another and take advantage of a more affordable option. To help people adopt a meditation practice, or deepen their existing one, I carved out the basics in terms of the theory that informs a mindfulness meditation practice; as well as the physical skills needed to sit still for longer periods of time. The results were far better than I had hoped. All of the graduates from this program report having developed a regular meditation practice that works for them. At the end of this description, I am including a couple of the testimonials last year’s students wrote upon completing the program. You can hear about their experience in their own words.
This program will offer you the following benefits:
- You will learn not only how to meditate, but how to sustain your meditation practice over time.
- You will work with me live online once a week for ten weeks. (All sessions will be recorded).
- You will receive weekly videos on the practice of meditation as well as videos of Yoga classes taught by me that teach you the same skills that you are learning in meditation, in a vinyasa class context.
- We will meet six weeks before the summer break and then four weeks afterward setting the stage for a relaxing summer and an engaged fall.
